ARA 290
ARA-290 research profile
ARA-290 (cibinetide) is an 11-residue peptide designed from the aqueous face of helix B of erythropoietin. It was built to engage the EPOR/CD131 "innate repair receptor" without stimulating red-cell production, and was described by Brines, Cerami and colleagues in 2008.

Frequently asked questions
What is cibinetide?
The international nonproprietary name for ARA-290.
What does pGlu mean?
Pyroglutamate, a cyclized N-terminal glutamine or glutamate residue.
How do I verify my lot?
Scan the QR code on the vial. It opens the certificate of analysis for that lot, with HPLC purity and the mass spectrometry identity result.
